The Wise Goats

The Wise Goats : Once upon a time, there was a forest. There were many green trees and plants in the forest. Many animals lives in this forest. Among them, there were two goats - Billy and Willy.

Billy and Willy goats were good friends. Everyday, the went in search of food together. They would share their food and also play around in the forest happily.

There was a stream of water that divided the forest into two parts. there was a small and narrow bridge made up of the trunk of an old tree to cross the stream . It was so narrow that only one animal could cross it at a time.

One day Billy Goat and Willy Got came to be the bridge facing each other. Willy told Billy, "Only one of us can cross the bridge at a time. What will we do now?"

The two goats began to think and Billy got an idea. He told Willy, "I will sit down on the bridge and you step over my body and move ahead. This way you cross the bridge. Then, I will get up and go to the other side."

Willy liked the idea and so, Billy sat down on the bridge while Willy goat stepped over her very carefully. Once Willy crossed the bridge, Billy got up and went ahead.

Willy said 'Thank you' to Billy as both of them were able to cross the bridge safely.
